The role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Front End Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role where you will work on a brand new software product, creating highly visible user experiences that directly improve healthcare outcomes. You will be part of a collaborative, Agile environment, working alongside designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, consumer-oriented solutions.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the full development lifecycle for a large, consumer-facing application, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and debugging.
• Partner with designers and product owners to translate wireframes and user needs into detailed technical requirements.
• Ensure all software meets rigorous security standards, including HIPAA compliance, to protect sensitive healthcare data.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a passion for modern web technologies. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise with React and TypeScript, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience and certifications.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with modern version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with SaaS or Cloud Native software development, particularly within regulated industries, is highly valued.
• Experience with tools such as gRPC, Twirp, Protobuf, and AWS is considered a significant plus.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $114,750 to $155,250 USD, with final compensation determined by your experience and location. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term success:
