The role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Front End Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in Colombia or Costa Rica. You will be responsible for executing front-end tasks, taking ownership of your design and programming work, and collaborating with senior team members to bring complex digital solutions to life. You should be comfortable working independently on standard tasks while seeking guidance and providing regular progress updates for more intricate projects.
Core responsibilities
- Translate graphical designs and wireframes into clean, fully styled markup code.
- Collaborate with our creative, business, and QA teams to ensure all web development is high-quality and delivered on time.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues within existing web applications to maintain a seamless user experience.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Proficiency in Adobe Campaign and experience with email development.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and modern development practices like Mobile First and MVC.
- Fluency in at least one major JavaScript framework or library, such as React, Angular, or VueJS.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and integrating with backend APIs.
- English proficiency at a B2 level or higher for reading, writing, and speaking.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience in digital agency or agile project environments.
