About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Freelance Videographer and Filmmaker to join us on a contractor basis. In this role, you will act as more than just a camera operator. We need a creative partner who brings a director's mindset to our projects. You will work alongside our marketing team to develop fresh concepts and innovative ways to tell stories that move our audiences. Whether you are capturing a nature walk or interviewing a young activist, your goal will be to produce high-quality content that highlights the transformation of the individuals we work with.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our marketing team to refine creative concepts and proactively identify new ways to elevate our production values.
• Capture and edit high-quality footage for a variety of formats, ranging from short-form social media clips to longer-form documentary-style interviews.
• Manage the full production lifecycle, ensuring that all shoots are meticulously planned and that project schedules are met with great attention to detail.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a filmmaker or videographer.
• The ability to work on-location across London, South England, and occasionally Wales.
• A passion for the natural world and a commitment to using film as a tool for positive change.
• The right to work in the UK.
• The ability to pass an enhanced DBS check, as you will be working with young people in school settings.
• A willingness to sign and adhere to our organizational code of conduct.

It is considered a bonus if you have experience with documentary-style projects or an interest in teaching filmmaking skills to young people.

Location

This role is on-site, requiring travel across London, South England, and occasionally Wales. We cover travel expenses for shoots outside of London, as well as necessary accommodation.

Compensation and Benefits

While this is an expression of interest for future contract work, we are committed to supporting new talent and providing paid opportunities. We provide coverage for travel and accommodation expenses for all non-London shoots.
