What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Localization Specialist to join our team on a freelance, contractor basis. This is a remote role, meaning you can work from anywhere in the world. What will you do?
- Translate, edit, and review a wide range of content, including product assets, marketing campaigns, blog posts, and newsletters to ensure they resonate perfectly with your target audience.
- Maintain the high standards of our brand by strictly adhering to our style guides and refining language-specific resources like glossaries.
- Perform linguistic quality assurance and functionality checks to ensure that every user interaction is seamless and culturally relevant.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be a proficient native speaker of your target language with a strong command of English. We are looking for someone who brings the following to the table:
- Proven experience in app and website localization, including a solid background in Translation Management Systems.
- A creative flair for copywriting and a good understanding of SEO best practices.
- A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to manage complex workflows and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- An academic or professional background in linguistics, marketing, communication, or translation.
