Freelance Field Operations Associate at Wunderflats

Since our founding in 2015 by Jan Hase and Arkadi Jampolski, we have grown into a Berlin-based scale-up with over 190 employees and a portfolio of more than 50,000 apartments across Europe. We simplify the medium-term rental process by connecting tenants and landlords through verified agreements and comprehensive support services. We are currently searching for a proactive and reliable Freelance Field Operations Associate based in Hamburg to join our team and ensure our properties operate seamlessly on the ground.

What you'll be doing

• Manage tenant check-ins and check-outs by completing handover protocols and capturing necessary documentation.
• Facilitate site access for repair crews, cleaning staff, and professional photographers while coordinating key exchanges.
• Perform routine property assessments, including taking inventory photos and videos, and handling minor maintenance tasks to keep our apartments in top condition.

What you'll bring

• You are currently based in Hamburg and feel comfortable navigating different neighborhoods to visit various properties.
• You possess a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented approach, as you will serve as the primary point of contact for our landlords and tenants.
• You are fluent in both English and German to effectively communicate with our diverse community of international tenants and local landlords.
• You are tech-savvy and comfortable using your smartphone to manage navigation, capture high-quality photos, and submit task reports through our internal systems.
• You are self-organized, reliable, and capable of working independently while following established operational protocols.
• Previous experience in real estate, hospitality, or field services is considered a strong asset.
