We are looking for a Senior Freelance Content Writer to join our team on a contract basis. Farfetch operates as a premier global marketplace for the luxury fashion industry, linking customers across more than 190 countries with over 1,400 of the finest brands, boutiques, and department stores. Our creative operations team is responsible for producing the copy, data, and visual assets that power our channels, and we are currently seeking a Japanese language expert to help us maintain our high standards of content and production on a remote basis.
Responsibilities
- Adapt and localize brand, marketing, and B2B materials to ensure they resonate with our Japanese audience while staying true to our unique brand voice.
- Translate and refine UX copy to provide a seamless, intuitive, and culturally tailored experience for our users.
- Manage the end-to-end localization process, including translating content from English to Japanese and handling CMS uploads to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Japanese, paired with exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Proven experience in localizing brand and marketing copy with a focus on audience engagement.
- A strong background in UX localization and the ability to create intuitive digital experiences.
- A collaborative mindset and a meticulous eye for detail when managing content across various channels.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
