What is this role?

We are searching for a Founding Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who wants to help build our new healthcare business unit from the ground up. You will be working in our New York City office, acting as a key player in a startup environment where you can take ownership of projects and help define our technical direction.

What will you do?

• Build and improve our core software platform to automate patient experiences and increase operational efficiency for our customers.
• Design and implement new features that provide tangible value and help us scale effectively.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to establish best practices, improve system architecture, and utilize automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to iterate quickly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience with Java, C#, Go, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of system design principles.
• A bias for action and the ability to balance high-quality code with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Proficiency in English.

Bonus points if you have experience with AWS, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, or machine learning.
