We are Pulley, and we are on a mission to modernize the construction industry by helping the nation's leading builders, retailers, and architects accelerate their project portfolios. Permitting is currently the most unpredictable and sluggish phase of development, involving thousands of unique jurisdictions and complex regulations. By combining expert guidance with our proprietary AI-powered intelligence, we provide the clarity project teams need to move from initial planning to grand opening without unnecessary friction. Our platform is already trusted by major brands like J.Crew and Hibbett Sports, as well as teams managing large-scale EV charging networks and data center buildouts. Since our founding in 2021, we have been backed by top-tier investors including CRV, Susa Ventures, and Fifth Wall, and we are now looking for a Founding Product Manager to join our team in the United States.
What you'll be doing
- You will take the lead on launching our latest AI-driven product offerings, serving as the primary product owner while coordinating efforts across design, engineering, and the broader business.
- You will collaborate daily with our design and engineering teams to ensure that our technical architecture and product features remain perfectly aligned with the needs of our customers.
- You will establish the foundational culture of product development at Pulley by defining the rituals, communication styles, and processes that will guide our future growth.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a passion for building high-impact software. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management within an enterprise SaaS or B2B environment.
- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a software engineer or in a highly technical role, giving you a deep understanding of APIs, data models, and system architecture.
- A proven track record of success in a high-growth company or startup setting.
- Fluency in English and a willingness to work in a hybrid capacity, as our team gathers in our Downtown San Francisco office four days per week.
- It is a bonus if you have prior experience with workflow automation, construction tech, government technology, or applying AI and LLM workflows to real-world operational challenges.
What you'll get
We believe in fostering a collaborative environment where you can make a significant impact on the future of construction technology. Your benefits include:
- A hybrid work model that balances in-person collaboration with the flexibility you need.
- The opportunity to work directly with our co-founder and shape the product strategy of a rapidly growing, well-backed company.
