Our platform utilizes advanced large language models to offer a seamless search experience, helping doctors stay updated on new treatments and make better clinical decisions. We are digitizing the sixty billion dollar pharmaceutical sales industry, moving away from analog processes to create a more efficient connection between medical professionals and drug manufacturers. As a Founding AI Software Engineer, you will help us build the search and retrieval systems that ultimately improve patient outcomes on a massive scale.
Key outcomes
- Design and scale innovative features for our clinical search application.
- Build the infrastructure required for low-latency search and retrieval.
- Manage and index large datasets containing millions of complex documents.
- Research and implement new techniques that integrate traditional search with embeddings and LLMs.
- Help define our engineering culture and organizational structure as an early team member.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- A proven ability to deliver high-quality software products.
- Strong full-stack development skills.
- Proficiency in Python, NextJS, TypeScript, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience developing scalable services for complex data processing.
- A deep interest in working with AI and LLMs.
- Technical expertise in building user-facing APIs, ETL pipelines, and data orchestration.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience as an early engineer at a high-growth startup.
- A background working at world-class product organizations, such as Notion or Figma.
