Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City headquarters, where you will be expected to work from the office at least three days a week. You will be our first dedicated engineer in this function, acting as the bridge between our core product team and the real-world needs of our government partners.

Your impact

• Build end-to-end solutions by designing and implementing full-stack features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node, and Postgres to solve immediate customer pain points.
• Translate ambiguity into clarity by scoping complex, undefined customer problems and turning them into actionable, high-impact engineering projects.
• Prototype and iterate rapidly by gathering direct feedback from users and leveraging AI tools to accelerate development cycles and improve system reliability.

What you'll need

You should be a product-minded engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience. We are looking for someone who is:

• Highly proficient in the modern web stack, specifically React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and Postgres.
• An AI-native developer who is excited to use AI agents and copilots to push the boundaries of engineering speed and quality.
• Comfortable working directly with customers, translating their workflows into technical requirements, and guiding them through complex decisions.
• A collaborative problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and possesses a strong bias toward action.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
