About the Role
We are seeking a Food Development Technician to join our Product Development team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on position based in our culinary centre where you will help transform our cultivated ingredients into finished products with superior texture and flavor. You will play a vital role in running food experiments, preparing prototypes, and supporting the broader R&D efforts to bring sustainable, high-quality meat products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, formulations, and equipment setups to ensure the seamless creation of food prototypes.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of all experimental methodologies and outcomes to support data-driven decision-making.
- Plan and execute recipe experiments while interpreting data to understand how specific ingredients and techniques impact the final product.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, meticulous, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You should have a genuine passion for food science and recipe development, along with the ability to distinguish flavors, odors, and colors. While a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, or a related field is preferred, we highly value candidates with prior experience in professional kitchens or food technology roles. A hacker mentality and the ability to work autonomously are key traits we look for in our team members.

This position is on-site in Australia.
