Flight Software Engineer at Reliable Robotics Corporation

Our team consists of mission-driven engineers with deep expertise in aerospace, robotics, and autonomous vehicles. We are currently looking for a Flight Software Engineer to join us on a full-time, on-site basis to help automate complex aircraft systems and bring our vision to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly deterministic C++ software in a bare metal environment, ensuring seamless integration with sensors, control systems, and other vehicle subsystems.
• Take ownership of technical requirements and implement rigorous unit testing to maintain high standards of software reliability.
• Collaborate directly with flight hardware in the lab and on the aircraft, including planning flight tests and observing your code in action during real flights.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in software engineering and a passion for aerospace technology. We look for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience programming in C or C++.
• Proven background in developing software for high-performance embedded or safety-critical applications.
• A thorough understanding of computer architecture, networking, and operating systems.
• Experience with advanced C++ features in production environments and, ideally, familiarity with aerospace software development.

What we offer
