At Delart, we operate at the intersection of innovation and reliability. Since our start in 2017, our team of world-class engineers has been dedicated to crafting the next generation of advanced wireless technologies. We are proud to be the partner of choice for major technology companies that rely on us to build mission-critical, highly scalable communication and network solutions. From telecommunications infrastructure to the latest consumer products, our work reaches users across the globe, and we are looking for a passionate engineer to help us push the boundaries of what is possible.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to join our team on-site in the United States. In this role, you will focus on the development of novel hardware and software systems for motion sensors that are destined for wearables and consumer electronics. You will play a vital role in our engineering department, bridging the gap between hardware and software to ensure our sensor solutions perform at the highest level. This is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys hands-on technical challenges and wants to contribute to projects that define the future of connectivity.
A day in the life
- You will develop firmware and hardware systems that integrate high-performance MEMS sensors into advanced AR and VR platforms.
- You will work closely with our engineering team to design, set up, and execute practical experiments involving motion sensors like IMUs, magnetometers, pressure sensors, and ultrasonic transducers.
- You will collaborate with internal and external research and design teams to create and refine Digital Signal Processing algorithms that advance our sensor technology.
Who you are
You are an experienced engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for embedded systems. You communicate fluently in English and bring a collaborative spirit to our team. Your background should include the following:
- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience developing firmware for ARM-based processors using C and C++.
- Proven experience developing drivers for and debugging communication protocols like I2C, SPI, WiFi, and others.
- Proficiency with benchtop tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Python, Matlab, FPGA design, or kernel-level development.
