About the Role
We are hiring for a FinTech Analyst II - Indirect Tax to join us on a full-time basis. In this position, you will serve as a bridge between our finance and engineering teams, using your accounting and tax expertise to drive the development of our internal financial products. You will spend your days optimizing systems and ensuring our marketplace remains fully compliant through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of tax solutions by collaborating with our engineering team to translate requirements into functional, scalable products.
- Perform deep-dive investigations into financial tax data to create reports, reconciliations, and alerts that proactively prevent errors.
- Take full ownership of project lifecycles, including managing user acceptance testing to ensure 100% compliance across our general ledger and reporting systems.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an analyst role, specifically working with financial data within the indirect tax sector.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Excel, with experience using tools like Snowflake and Tableau.
- A solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and indirect tax requirements.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and a product-centric mindset for designing compliance-focused solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive, proactive approach when working under pressure.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in our New York office at 3 WTC, requiring you to be in the office three days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
