Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategies to reduce cloud expenditures across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Evaluate existing cloud usage to pinpoint waste and implement resource optimization.
- Track and document all cost-saving initiatives to provide transparent insights to leadership.
- Work alongside engineering and product departments to define standards for sustainable cloud spending.
- Automate cloud cost management processes to ensure long-term financial efficiency.
- Act as a technical authority on FinOps best practices while coaching the team to maintain a cost-aware culture.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience in cloud architecture with a specific focus on FinOps and cost optimization.
- Practical, hands-on mastery of AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure management tools.
- A robust background in software architecture and the ability to build cost-effective technical solutions.
- Demonstrated experience applying FinOps frameworks to manage cloud finances.
- Strong analytical capabilities to translate complex data into clear, actionable cost-saving plans.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The base salary for this position is $178,000.
