Intellect is looking for a Finance and Accounting Operations Associate
We are looking for a dedicated Finance and Accounting Operations Associate to join our team in Indonesia. You will play a key role in maintaining our financial health by managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping us refine our reporting systems.
Responsibilities
- Handle essential accounting duties, including bank reconciliations, processing invoices, and managing payables and receivables.
- Maintain our bookkeeping records in Xero and ensure all financial reporting aligns with the accounting cycle.
- Identify and fix transaction discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Oversee expenditure and claims approvals while ensuring we remain compliant with tax and legal requirements.
- Support the monthly closing process and conduct financial analysis to provide meaningful operational insights.
- Assist with annual budgeting, contract reconciliation, and the preparation of financial presentations.
- Collaborate on internal and external audits and develop dashboards to track financial performance.
Must-haves
- Between 1 and 3 years of professional experience in finance or bookkeeping.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience using Xero for financial management.
- Previous experience working within a tech or SaaS company environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work well across different teams.
- A proactive mindset focused on improving processes and adopting new financial technologies.
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced setting.
