The opportunity
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team on a full time, on-site basis within the United States. In this role, you will be the face of Promaxo at customer sites, ensuring our medical imaging equipment is installed correctly and maintained to the highest standards. You will serve as a vital link between our technology and the clinicians who use it, providing the technical expertise necessary to keep our systems running smoothly.
A day in the life
- You will manage the installation and commissioning of our medical imaging systems while performing routine calibration and maintenance to guarantee peak performance.
- You will act as a primary point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting complex issues via phone, email, or in-person visits to minimize equipment downtime.
- You will lead training sessions for end-users, teaching them how to operate and care for our equipment effectively while documenting every service interaction in our database.
Who you are
You are a motivated professional with a passion for medical technology and a desire to solve complex problems. You possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Up to two years of experience in technical support or servicing medical imaging equipment.
- A solid understanding of medical device regulations, electronics, and imaging systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and healthcare providers.
- A willingness to travel up to 50 percent of the time to support our customers on-site.
- Fluency in English.
