About the Role
We are hiring a Field Service Engineer for a full-time, on-site position. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring our state-of-the-art imaging systems are installed correctly and maintained to the highest standards. You will serve as a vital link between our technology and the medical professionals who rely on it every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the installation, commissioning, and routine calibration of our medical imaging systems at various customer locations to ensure peak performance.
- Provide expert technical support by troubleshooting equipment issues through phone, email, or direct on-site visits to minimize operational downtime.
- Lead training sessions for end-users to ensure they are comfortable and proficient with the functionality and maintenance of our products.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Up to two years of experience in technical support or the maintenance of medical imaging hardware.
- A solid understanding of medical device regulations, electronics, and imaging system architecture.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, especially when working under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with diverse teams and clients.
- The ability and willingness to travel up to 50 percent of the time for service and installation visits.
