As a Field Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our mission, ensuring that our state-of-the-art equipment functions perfectly to improve patient outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United States, and we are looking for someone who is eager to grow their career while working with cutting-edge tools that make a real difference in the medical field.
What you'll be doing
- You will manage the installation and commissioning of our medical imaging systems at various customer sites, while also performing routine maintenance and calibration to keep everything running reliably.
- You will serve as a primary point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting complex issues via phone, email, or in-person visits to ensure our clients experience minimal downtime.
- You will lead training sessions for end-users to ensure they are comfortable with the functionality and maintenance of our products, while also documenting your service activities and collaborating with our engineering team to help refine our future designs.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for problem-solving. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Up to two years of experience in technical support or servicing medical imaging hardware.
- A solid understanding of medical device regulations, basic electronics, and imaging systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which are essential for explaining technical concepts to customers and working effectively with our internal teams.
- A readiness to travel up to 50 percent of the time to support our customers on-site.
- Fluency in English.
