We are looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy, specifically based in the Rome or Naples area. At TOMRA, we lead the way in sensor-based sorting technology, and we need someone with your technical expertise to help us maintain our high standards for customers across Italy and Eastern Europe. This role is perfect if you have an adventurous spirit, as you will spend a significant amount of time traveling to different sites to ensure our systems are running at their best. We will provide you with comprehensive training at our center in Germany and pair you with experienced colleagues to help you gain the practical skills you need to succeed.
What you'll be doing
- You will handle the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our sensor-based sorting units to ensure they operate at peak performance.
- You will act as a vital bridge between our customers and our headquarters, gathering market feedback and identifying new ways to add value to our clients' operations.
- You will optimize our sorting processes through hands-on sampling and testing while delivering excellent support to every customer you assist.
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you should have a senior level of experience in engineering and maintenance. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with customer support and process optimization. Since you will be collaborating with an international team and working across borders, you must be fluent in English. Your ability to manage technical tasks while maintaining strong professional relationships is essential to our success.
