- Study the market of the given area and provide feedback to management for sales reporting purposes.
- Seek new business in the given area. Build and foster customer relationships.
- Responsible for successfully managing sales effort by pursuing, generating, qualifying and closing sales.
- Provide essential technical support in managing any customer support issues.
- Facilitate and provide support to Sales and Marketing team in organizing trade shows, conferences as well as other marketing events to promote business.
- Collaborate with supervisor and engineers from the parent company to develop strategic and tactical plans to accomplish sales targets(quarterly and annually) and assess equipment needs.
- Respond to proposals for specific customer requirements by researching, developing and presenting solutions.
- Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers.
- Promote the sale of Company products. Support customers who are purchasing or about to make a purchase.
- Partner with other engineering staff for demonstrations events.
- Proactively visit customer facilities to resolve difficult engineering issues and challenges.
- Report the work-related issues to the supervisor as required in a timely fashion.
- Other duties as assigned.
