Via Separations is a Boston-based startup focused on driving industrial process efficiency through market-driven energy technology. After successfully delivering our first commercial facility in 2024, we are looking for a Field Implementation Lead to join our interdisciplinary team as we scale our impact and deploy innovative pilot-scale systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with our engineering team to manufacture, assemble, and deploy in-house pilot systems.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including logistics, on-site installation, and the successful operation of systems at customer locations.
- Monitor system performance against key metrics and optimize operations to ensure we meet all technical specifications.
- Coordinate with internal R&D staff, external vendors, and fabricators to resolve construction or fabrication challenges.
- Develop and deliver training programs for customers and internal team members regarding system maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Utilize hands-on technical skills to build equipment within our prototype assembly space.
Must-haves
- Five to ten years of experience in the assembly and deployment of complex pilot or industrial-scale systems.
- Three to five years of direct experience manufacturing equipment skids, including working with piping and pumping systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed work instructions, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Ability to thrive in an environment that is highly collaborative yet informally structured.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, stooping, or sitting for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional work during nights or weekends.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience with basic electrical wiring.
- Experience operating fork trucks and knowledge of rigging components for the assembly or disassembly of process equipment.
