What you bring

We are seeking a Mid-Level Field Application Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis within the United States. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy professional with a passion for IoT, debugging, and cloud platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive technical support for IoT devices, which involves hardware diagnostics, firmware updates, and resolving connectivity issues.
• Managing the installation, configuration, and calibration of hardware and software systems to ensure seamless customer deployments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to escalate complex issues and provide actionable feedback for future product enhancements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation, including a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics. You should have 2 to 5 years of experience in technical support or field engineering within the IoT sector. We value candidates who are proficient in English and have hands-on experience with connectivity protocols, cloud architecture, and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C++. You should be comfortable using tools like JIRA and Confluence, and you must be physically capable of lifting 20 to 50 lbs. Because this role involves travel, you should be located near a major West Coast airport hub or in the metro Atlanta area. A proactive, customer-focused mindset and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences are essential for success in this position.
