We are looking for a Federal Contracting Solution Strategist to help us transform how our AI-powered tools support federal contractors. You will bridge the gap between complex government requirements and innovative software, ensuring our products effectively solve real-world challenges for proposal and compliance teams.
Responsibilities
- Translate your deep knowledge of government contracting into actionable design insights for our product, engineering, and design teams.
- Evaluate AI-generated content to ensure it meets high standards for accuracy, tone, and regulatory compliance.
- Influence our product roadmap by identifying key industry pain points and prioritizing features that provide the most value to federal professionals.
- Conduct hands-on testing of new features, providing clear feedback to refine our tools before they reach the market.
- Establish quality benchmarks for our AI outputs, ensuring all generated materials align with industry best practices and federal standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert, helping our technical team understand the nuances of federal workflows and procurement cycles.
Must-haves
- Five to ten years of professional experience in federal, state, or local government contracting, specifically within proposals, capture, or contract management.
- Comprehensive understanding of public sector procurement, including the practical difficulties of managing compliance and tight deadlines.
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations and how these rules impact actual project deliverables.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain intricate regulatory workflows in simple, clear language.
- A proactive, curious mindset and a willingness to learn how artificial intelligence can be applied to federal tasks.
- Proven experience providing constructive feedback on documents or tools with a focus on the end user experience.
- Ability to work on-site, with a preference for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing or testing AI assistants for drafting proposal responses.
- Background in creating quality checklists to maintain compliance with federal guidelines.
- History of partnering with product managers to build and execute feature roadmaps.
