We are thrilled to invite you to join PQShield, a fast-growing deep tech startup at the forefront of the semiconductor industry. We specialize in post-quantum cryptography and RISC-V technology, and we are currently looking for a senior Fault Analyst to help us secure our innovative IP components. Because we are still in our early stages, you will have the unique chance to collaborate directly with our founders and inventors. We have already secured funding and established a clear path to market, making this an ideal time for you to advance your career in a rapidly expanding field. This is a remote-first role, and we welcome applicants from anywhere.
What you'll be doing
- You will focus on the continuous improvement of our IP by enhancing its fault tolerance and resilience.
- You will conduct thorough code reviews to identify potential fault injection vulnerabilities and provide actionable feedback to our architects and engineers.
- You will lead research and development efforts into modern fault injection techniques and countermeasures, while maintaining simulation flows for both hardware and software.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in vulnerability analysis. We are looking for someone who values high-quality engineering and long-term solutions. Your technical toolkit should include:
- Strong proficiency in Git for version control and experience with languages like C and Verilog.
- Confidence in using BASH, CMake, and QEMU for simulation and development.
- A deep understanding of post-quantum cryptography standards and theoretical knowledge of fault injection countermeasures.
- Familiarity with industry standards for invasive side-channel testing, such as FIPS, ISO, and Common Criteria.
- Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to effectively collaborate with our team.
What you'll get
We are committed to supporting your professional growth and personal well-being. When you join our team, you will receive:
- Equity compensation through our share option scheme.
- Flexible and hybrid work arrangements, including a dedicated budget for your home office.
- Comprehensive private health insurance for you and your family.
- 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays and two additional wellness weeks.
- A 50% discount on gym memberships to help you stay active.
- The opportunity to work in a collaborative, spirited environment where you can learn from experts in the field.
