About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Expert SecOps Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. As the first security-focused engineer in our organization, you will be responsible for building our security operations from the ground up. You will design and manage a comprehensive framework to protect our infrastructure and data, acting as the primary leader for all security initiatives while fostering a security-first culture across our engineering departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and create a multi-phase security roadmap that addresses both immediate and long-term infrastructure needs.
• Design and implement advanced security strategies for our AWS cloud environment, including the deployment of monitoring, logging, and SIEM solutions for real-time threat detection.
• Integrate security into our development lifecycle by establishing a DevSecOps culture, driving secure coding practices, and embedding security protocols directly into our CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in cybersecurity and a proven ability to build security frameworks from scratch. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud-native security solutions.
• Deep technical expertise in networking, encryption, and authentication protocols.
• Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in incident response, threat hunting, and performing regular penetration tests or red team exercises.
