Pillar Technology is currently expanding our team and we are looking for a dedicated Experience Architect to join us. As a leader in digital experience consulting and development, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional digital solutions for our clients. In this full-time, on-site role, you will work closely with software developers, product managers, and various stakeholders to research, design, and build compelling digital products that truly resonate with users.
Key outcomes
- Serve as a primary advocate for the end user throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring that our cross-functional teams maintain a user-centered focus.
- Plan and moderate both qualitative and quantitative user research to gather actionable insights from primary and secondary sources.
- Translate research findings into concrete concepts using methods such as ethnographic research, contextual inquiry, and persona development.
- Collaborate with software developers to define and prioritize product requirements based on research data.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to support rapid, iterative design and usability improvements.
- Provide high-level strategic direction for the experience team in coordination with delivery leaders and other designers.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a core member of a design or UX team, with a proven track record of contributing to the full development lifecycle of successful digital products.
- Proficiency in ethnographic research, usability testing, and UX design methods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with end users, product managers, and developers.
- Experience working within an Agile environment, including the creation of user stories, personas, and story maps.
- A solid understanding of web standards and UI design principles.
- Demonstrated experience with design thinking, whiteboard facilitation, and task analysis.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work on web or mobile applications, your creative process, and your ability to turn data into knowledge.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Axure and Sketch.
- Fluency in English.
