Experience Architect at Pillartechnology

We are currently looking for a Senior Experience Architect to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. At Pillar Technology, we take pride in our reputation as the premier provider of digital experience consulting and development. You will work closely with our software developers, product managers, and various stakeholders to research, design, and build compelling digital solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated advocate for the end user throughout the entire research, design, and development lifecycle, while collaborating with team members who may have varying levels of experience with user-centered product approaches.
• Plan and moderate both qualitative and quantitative user research, utilizing data from primary and secondary sources to inform our strategy.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights to drive concept development, which includes creating personas, scenarios, and conducting ethnographic research or contextual inquiries.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in UX design, interaction design, and usability testing. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Graphic Design, or Interaction Design.
• At least 5 years of experience as a key contributor on a design or UX team, specifically within the full product development lifecycle of launched digital applications.
• Proven expertise in design thinking, whiteboard facilitation, and the creation of wireframes and clickable prototypes.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Axure and Sketch.
• A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work effectively within an iterative culture.
• A strong portfolio that showcases your creative process, user research artifacts, and final product experiences.
