About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and creative Executive Director or Vice President of Corporate and Internal Communications to join us on a full-time basis. This senior-level position is vital to our growth, as you will serve as a trusted advisor to our executive leadership team. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between our business strategy, our corporate brand, and our internal culture. In this role, you will lead our communications function to ensure that our mission is clearly articulated to all stakeholders, while maintaining a cohesive and engaging environment for our predominantly remote workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that keeps our remote team informed, connected, and aligned with our core values and business milestones.
- Lead the evolution of our corporate brand and digital presence, including a full redesign of our external website to better showcase our scientific innovation and company narrative.
- Partner with senior leadership to craft compelling executive communications and manage high-impact company events, such as town halls and all-company meetings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must bring a deep understanding of the industry and a proven track record in communications leadership.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in communications, with specific leadership expertise within the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex initiatives, including digital content strategy, internal communications for distributed teams, and corporate brand development.
- Exceptional storytelling abilities, with the talent to translate intricate scientific data into clear, accessible narratives.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders across departments like Finance, Human Resources, and Investor Relations.
- A hands-on approach to project management, combined with a data-driven mindset to track and improve communication effectiveness.

This position is remote. We are open to candidates working from anywhere within the contiguous United States.
