At FLYR Labs, we are a Series D startup dedicated to revolutionizing the travel and transportation sector through advanced AI and machine learning. As we continue our rapid growth, having expanded 20 times over the last three years, we are seeking an executive leader to guide our engineering organization of over 300 professionals in delivering high-impact SaaS solutions to global airline and hospitality leaders.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a long-term engineering strategy that scales our platform and integrates AI and machine learning to drive growth over the next few years.
- Provide inspirational leadership to a large, global engineering team while fostering a culture of high performance and innovation.
- Oversee talent acquisition and professional development by creating clear career paths, role leveling, and competitive compensation structures to attract top-tier engineers.
- Drive operational excellence by refining development workflows and improving forecasting accuracy to ensure we hit our delivery targets consistently.
- Collaborate closely with our product and customer success departments to ensure client feedback directly influences our product roadmap and improves our Net Promoter Score.
- Manage technical integration efforts and lead engineering activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
Must-haves
- Extensive leadership experience within a B2B SaaS environment, specifically involving complex product implementations and professional services.
- A proven history of managing and scaling engineering teams of 100 or more people, with the capability to lead an organization of 300+.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing M&A integrations from an engineering perspective.
- Strong expertise in operational strategy, including development process design, release forecasting, and project delivery.
- A customer-centric mindset with a track record of translating user needs into technical product improvements.
- Fluency in English.
