We are currently expanding our international team and are looking for a passionate Events & Community Marketer to join us in the Netherlands.
Key outcomes
- Take full ownership of our event engine, managing everything from intimate networking dinners and webinars to large-scale tradeshows and our signature OpenUp Awards.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of the OpenUp Awards, including jury coordination, sponsorship management, and event flow.
- Develop and nurture our HR and People community to ensure long-term engagement beyond individual events.
- Create compelling marketing content, such as invitations, landing pages, and speaker briefs, to drive attendance and post-event interest.
- Monitor the commercial impact of our events by tracking lead generation, managing budgets, and reporting on the return on investment for our marketing channels.
- Collaborate closely with our sales, product, and customer success departments to align event strategies with our broader growth goals.
Requirements
- Possess 2 to 4 years of professional experience in community building, field marketing, or event management, preferably within a B2B environment.
- Demonstrate strong project management capabilities, including the ability to handle logistics, vendor relationships, and tight timelines.
- Maintain fluency in both English and Dutch.
- Show proficiency with digital tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, and Canva.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to using AI tools to enhance efficiency and workflows.
- Enjoy engaging with diverse groups of people and feel comfortable hosting live events.
- Be available to work in a hybrid capacity, with time spent in our Amsterdam office when not traveling for events.
Compensation
