We believe buying enterprise software should be simple, pleasant, and fast instead of complex, painful, and slow (which is how it is today). Buyers now want instant access to presales (sales engineering) resources throughout the buying experience but they find it harder and harder to get what they need. Using Consensus, a sales engineering team builds a library of reusable interactive video demos that Sales sends out on-demand. Consensus automatically personalizes the experience and tracks engagement as the prospect shares the demo with other stakeholders in the buying group, bringing the entire buying group to live demos better educated and ready to talk specifics.
This not only reduces unqualified demos to near zero and can double the presales team’s productivity, it also removes the "demo lag time" for prospects and shortens the sales cycle by as much as 68%.

About the Role:
We are seeking an Event Marketing Specialist to own and drive event marketing strategies to support the organizations overall marketing objectives. You will play a pivotal role in scaling our virtual and in person event marketing efforts to foster community, generate new leads, and promote our brand. Your refined skills in event execution, project management, and marketing will help the Go-to-Market team deliver on its ambitious goals.
What You'll Do:
Research, develop and implement comprehensive event and trade show strategies aligned with the company's marketing and business objectivesOversee the planning, coordination, and execution of virtual events, including annual DEMOFEST event & monthly webinars. Ensure seamless execution from concept to post-event analysisEnsure all events are executed within budget, making necessary adjustments to processes and resources as neededCollaborate with internal sales team, channel partners, and customers to create direct and joint marketing initiativesUtilize data-driven insights to optimize and enhance future events & campaignsIdentify opportunities for joint events, sponsorships, and thought leadership initiativesManage public facing webinar strategy from conception to post-session analysis in coordination with the demand generation teamCommunicate event plans, progress, and outcomes to senior management and other key stakeholdersSupport marketing needs across the organization, aligning efforts with key prioritiesPerform other related duties as requested by the Sr. Event & Partnerships ManagerWhat We're Looking For:
1-3 years of experience in event marketing (virtual and in-person) or similar, preferably in B2B and/or SaaS environmentStrong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills. High degree of comfort to craft original and innovative content on their ownStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independentlyBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related fieldAbility to work efficiently under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExceptional organizational and written communication skills, with keen attention to detailOutgoing personality with the confidence to interact effectively with groupsWilling to assist sales and marketing teams with various activities, field events and trade showsAbility to travel up to 20%At Consensus, You'll Get:
