The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for coordinating Augmedix’s presence at trade shows and other virtual and in-person events. The ideal candidate will build brand awareness and drive event-based pipeline for the revenue organization.
The Event Marketing Manager will own all event experiences from start to finish by evaluating opportunities, pitching events to leadership for consideration, coordinating all necessary event logistics, working with stakeholders to create and implement all event communication plans, and documenting success and lessons learned for future planning.
This individual will generate and manage opportunity leads before, during, and post-event and will also help bridge the gap between the marketing and sales teams to ensure proper lead hand-off and context as it relates to event marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Research and evaluate potential trade show and event opportunitiesPresent quarterly proposed event selections to leadershipCoordinate all event logistics including ordering items, shipping materials, planning social events, and submitting all necessary event informationProject manage the creation of event landing pages and other event marketing assets (ie. flyers, graphics, promotional items)Identify, book, and secure speaking opportunities at eventsObtain event attendee lists and manage contact sourcing effortsOversee pre-, during- and post-event prospecting and customer communication efforts in collaboration with the sales and customer success teamsAttend events in person to represent the marketing team and facilitate on-site event needsManage the packing, unpacking, and storage of event inventory, including booth and giveaway items, working with third party vendors as neededWork cross-functionally to prepare virtual events, such as webinars, to support the sales and product teams to and aid in product launches and promotionEnsure events are being promoted properly across channels, including social media and web pagesCreate email campaigns to promote all eventsWork with the Social Media Coordinator to identify the timing of event social media posts and take needed photos at eventsIdentify networking opportunities at trade shows and coordinate logisticsWork with our PR agency to ensure media coverage at eventsSchedule meetings for attendees to meet with prospects, investors, and reporters during and after the eventOversee post-event lead assignments and uploads into CRMOversee delegation and follow-up of partnership, media, and investment opportunities resulting from eventsMonitor lead progress and send reminders to lead owners as neededServe as a liaison between marketing and the sales team to make trade shows and all marketing campaigns more effectiveReport on event ROI-based pipeline, revenue, and lead metrics using CRM and project management toolsDemonstrated willingness to get work done and expand outside of day-to-day responsibilitiesRequirements:
Minimum of 4 years of event planning Experience coordinating event logisticsBachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Confluence, etc.)Proficient with digital tools, cloud-based office suite software, and CRM systemsAbility to travel domestically to 5-10 events annuallyStrong organizational skillsNice to Have:
