What you bring
We are looking for a mid-level Event Marketing Manager to join us in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will own our tradeshow and customer event channels, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing. You will be responsible for driving brand awareness and lead generation by collaborating closely with our sales and marketing teams. Your work will be vital to our pipeline management and strategic growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing our end-to-end event strategy, including tradeshows, customer conferences, and lunch and learns.
- Developing and executing pre-event and post-event strategies to convert badge scans and engagement into qualified opportunities.
- Researching, negotiating, and managing vendors to ensure world-class event experiences.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience in event marketing, ideally within the B2B technology sector. You should be a highly organized self-starter who can balance a strategic mindset with hands-on execution. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, as is a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. We value candidates who are scrappy, creative, and hold a high bar for quality, along with the ability to work effectively in our Sacramento office three days per week.
