At iBanFirst, we are redefining how businesses handle international payments. Since our founding in 2016, we have grown into a leading fintech powerhouse, supporting companies with a sophisticated platform and expert currency guidance. With over 350 team members across ten countries and the backing of major investors like bpiFrance and Marlin Equity Partners, we are proud to be recognized by the Financial Times as one of Europe's fastest-growing companies. We are now looking for a passionate student to join our marketing team in France and help us bring our brand to life through impactful events.
The opportunity
We are seeking an Event Manager Intern to join us for a six-month journey. In this role, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager to coordinate a variety of professional gatherings, including conferences, webinars, and client events. You will play a vital part in our mission to strengthen the iBanFirst brand, ensuring that every detail of our event strategy contributes to our continued success in the fintech sector.
A day in the life
- You will assist in the end-to-end planning and logistics of events, from researching venues and partners to managing attendee registrations and on-site setup.
- You will create engaging communication materials and brochures, while also maintaining an active presence on social media to boost our visibility before, during, and after each event.
- You will analyze the impact of our initiatives by conducting post-event reporting, which helps us measure our success and refine our approach for the future.
Who you are
You are currently a student pursuing a degree in marketing, communication, or event management. You are a detail-oriented person who thrives in organized environments, and you possess strong communication skills that allow you to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external providers. While a previous internship or school project involving event planning is a great asset, your enthusiasm and rigor are what we value most. You are comfortable working in both French and English, as you will be part of our international team.
Why you'll love it here
Joining us means stepping into a vibrant, professional environment located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. We are committed to your growth and offer a hybrid work arrangement to help you balance your responsibilities. Beyond the experience of working in a fast-paced fintech company, you will enjoy several perks:
- A Swile card providing 8 EUR per day.
- Two days of paid leave.
- Regular internal team events and off-site gatherings.
Our recruitment process is designed to help us get to know you, starting with an interview with our Talent Acquisition Specialist, followed by conversations with our Marketing Manager, Sarah, and our Chief Marketing Officer, David.
