We are currently seeking a dedicated EV Field Support Technician to join our team and help us transform the electric mobility industry.
Key outcomes
- Ensure the readiness and reliability of our customer-deployed electric vehicle fleets through proactive diagnosis, assessment, and hands-on repair.
- Provide exceptional customer support by maintaining strong relationships with clients and acting as a primary technical point of contact during site visits.
- Analyze remote monitoring system data to identify performance trends, resolve issues with vehicle subsystems, and suggest improvements for future fleet utilization.
- Prepare detailed diagnostic reports for management and maintain clear communication with our technical team to document quality failures and repair outcomes.
- Operate company and customer vehicles safely while adhering to all relevant driving laws and organizational field protocols.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reduce failure rates and improve the overall efficiency of our powertrain technology.
Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, science, or engineering field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience, including specialized knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and Controller Area Networks (CAN).
- Fluency in both English and French to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the United States and Canada.
- Strong technical proficiency in electric mobility, including experience with cutting-edge control technology and automotive troubleshooting.
- Advanced computer skills, including the ability to analyze complex vehicle data logs and learn proprietary software systems.
- The ability to travel up to 80% of the time to support customer needs and participate in training.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Physical capability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform tasks in various field settings.
