About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the primary person responsible for calculating the total manufacturing costs and suggested selling prices for our diverse range of products. You will analyze material costs and internal and external process operations to ensure our pricing remains competitive and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify the necessary tooling, fixturing, and gaging methods required for new product manufacturing, while also determining associated lead times and costs.
- Collaborate with internal support teams and external suppliers to define and clarify technical and process requirements for all quoted products.
- Partner with our Product Engineering department to assist in the implementation and review of industry and customer-specific standards.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should have a strong background in manufacturing and a keen eye for detail. We require the following qualifications:
- A degree in industrial or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience defining process sequences for metal turning, milling, grinding, heat treating, forming, and stamping, specifically regarding aerospace alloys and polymer composites.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word and PowerPoint.
- A foundational understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Due to U.S. export control regulations, you must be a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident, or possess asylum or refugee status.
Location
This position is based on-site at our facility in Laconia, New Hampshire, United States.
Compensation and Benefits
