Vaayu is on a mission to help retailers and brands track and lower their environmental impact through innovative technology. We are currently seeking a Senior ESG Reporting Specialist to join our Product team as an internal expert advisor, helping us build tools that empower our customers to meet their sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

Serve as our primary internal authority on technical ESG reporting standards to ensure our business strategy and product roadmap remain fully aligned.
Monitor global regulatory developments and collaborate with our in-house sustainability and strategy experts to understand how emerging requirements impact our clients.
Partner with our engineering, product, science, and compliance teams to create intuitive and effective ESG reporting solutions for our users.

Must-haves

At least 5 years of professional experience in ESG reporting, gained either at a large corporation or a major consulting or audit firm.
Deep expertise in mandatory requirements like the EU CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, and CSDDD, as well as frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and ISSB.
Proven experience managing the full reporting lifecycle, including materiality assessments and third-party assurance processes.
Practical understanding of global supply chain data collection challenges.
Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts for diverse stakeholders.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Previous experience collaborating directly with software and technology teams.
An advanced academic degree or professional certification related to sustainability or compliance.
