The role
We are looking for a Junior ERP Developer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the technology that powers our operations, with a primary focus on our Epicor ERP system. You will work closely with our existing infrastructure to perform configurations, develop new code, and provide technical support. While this position is remote, you may occasionally travel to visit our various locations as needed.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new feature functionality while coordinating with users via email, chat, and phone.
- Author, update, and maintain high-quality code and technical documentation, ensuring all work adheres to established best practices and coding standards.
- Provide comprehensive technical support, including Tier-1 user assistance, Tier-2 server maintenance, patch management, and root cause analysis for troubleshooting.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for problem-solving. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least one year of experience working with Object Oriented Programming languages, with a strong preference for C#.
- Demonstrable knowledge of relational databases, including proficiency with SQL scripts and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with the SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience managing software upgrade paths, testing protocols, and deployment processes.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to define goals based on data and user feedback.
