What you bring

As an Enterprise Strategic Account Executive based in the United States, you will serve as the primary face of GitLab for our largest prospects in the New York area. This full-time executive role requires a deep understanding of account management and a commitment to driving successful outcomes for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the full pre- and post-sales process for strategic and large accounts.
  • Developing comprehensive account plans to address complex business needs and secure new opportunities.
  • Managing your book of business with precision by documenting buying criteria, processes, and clear next steps.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in B2B software sales and a strong interest in open source technology. You should possess excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. While not required, experience with Git, software development tools, and application lifecycle management is highly preferred. We value candidates who are self-motivated, capable of working under minimal supervision, and who align with our core values of collaboration and transparency. Proficiency in English is required for this position.
