Locus Robotics stands at the forefront of the eCommerce order fulfillment industry. We specialize in optimizing warehouse operations, helping our clients achieve two to three times the efficiency of traditional cart-picking methods. By integrating our advanced robotics systems with existing warehouse infrastructure, we enable human workers to collaborate seamlessly with our technology. We are currently looking for an Enterprise Security Risk and Compliance Co-Op to join our high-performing team in Wilmington, Massachusetts, for a six-month internship starting in the fall of 2025.
Key outcomes
- Support our team by collecting and organizing compliance and audit artifacts to meet necessary control requirements.
- Prepare, format, and publish essential documentation for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the deployment of solutions that improve our internal processes and procedures.
- Identify and connect with system and business process owners to foster effective collaboration.
- Coordinate meetings and activities to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Compile data to assist with analytics, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
- Help develop audit procedures to support our ongoing assessment activities.
- Gather and present information regarding security vulnerabilities to assist in the execution of remediation plans.
Requirements
- You must be an undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in an accredited institution, focusing on business administration, legal studies, security, audit, or engineering.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required.
- You should possess an intermediate or advanced understanding of technology.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential for this role.
- You must have strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
- We require local candidates who can commit to a hybrid schedule from Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, for the duration of the fall term.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior internship experience within the cybersecurity field is considered a significant asset.
Compensation
This position offers the benefit of a hybrid work environment, allowing for a balance between remote and in-office collaboration at our Wilmington location.
