At Nx, we are building the leading monorepo build system designed to help engineering teams optimize, maintain, and scale their projects. Our technology is essential for platform engineering and software development leaders, allowing them to automate builds and manage complex dependencies with ease. We are on a mission to improve developer productivity across every industry, and we need passionate people to help us share this vision with the world.
The role
We are looking for a mid-level Enterprise Account Executive to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this position, you will serve as the primary face of Nx for our enterprise prospects. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between technical requirements and business goals to help organizations solve their most critical development challenges.
Core responsibilities
- Manage the full customer lifecycle, from initial outreach and discovery to closing contracts and ensuring long-term technical validation.
- Coordinate internal technical resources and account managers to facilitate value-based discussions that address the specific pain points of our prospects.
- Build strategic, multi-departmental partnerships within target organizations to demonstrate how our monorepo tools can drive organizational success.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in sales and a genuine interest in the developer tooling space. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying role with a proven history of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
- A solid understanding of software development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and various sales engagement tools.
- The ability to clearly articulate complex technical value propositions to platform engineering leaders.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to forecast pipeline health while creating strategies to close any identified gaps.
- Professional fluency in English.
Compensation and benefits
We believe in supporting our employees both professionally and personally. As part of our team, you will enjoy the following perks:
- A completely autonomous remote work culture.
- An annual $2,500 learning budget to support your professional development.
- A dynamic environment that prioritizes innovation and continuous growth.
How to apply
If you are a self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, remote environment and you are excited about the future of software development, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to be considered for this role.
