What is this role?
We are seeking a Lead Engineering Technician to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our new Webster facility. This is a vital position within our Engineering Department where you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for our blowmolding operations. You will take ownership of machine reliability, process improvements, and the development of operational expertise across the plant. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who enjoys leading technical projects and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do?
- Act as the primary technical expert for blowmolding equipment, defining operational standards and maintenance practices to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead reliability routines and process improvements to minimize downtime, including the development of comprehensive SOPs and preventative maintenance guidelines.
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot complex issues, manage vendor relationships, and oversee equipment upgrades or rebuilds to maximize productivity.
