By combining our expertise in distributed power with Atlas’s leadership in logistics and frac sand solutions, we are building a future defined by innovation, safety, and operational excellence. We invite you to join our team as we continue to deliver reliable power solutions to the military, industrial, and commercial sectors.
The role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Engineering Technician to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This position is vital to our production and design efforts, as you will bridge the gap between technical hands-on assembly and precise engineering documentation. You will work closely with our engineers and project managers to bring advanced generator systems to life, ensuring that every unit we produce meets our high standards for performance and quality.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex generator systems and their associated components.
- Execute the assembly, wiring, and installation of control panels and generator units while performing rigorous quality testing to ensure compliance.
- Utilize SolidWorks to create and maintain accurate 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials for both manufacturing and research projects.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a commitment to precision. We require the following qualifications:
- Three to five years of professional experience in manufacturing, production environments, or industrial systems.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools, with a solid understanding of ASME Y14 drafting standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and the ability to interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- A high school diploma is required, though an Engineering Technology degree or specialized drafting experience is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English is necessary for creating technical documentation and collaborating with the team.
Compensation and benefits
We are committed to supporting your well-being and long-term financial health. Our benefits package includes:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, with premiums 100% covered by the company.
- A 401k plan that includes a company match and immediate vesting.
How to apply
If you are passionate about energy technology and want to contribute to a team that values integrity and innovation, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to be considered for this position, and be prepared to participate in our standard hiring process, which includes a drug screening.
