GeneDx is a leader in genomic testing and precision medicine, utilizing the world’s largest rare disease data sets to provide actionable health insights. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Technical Support Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity, helping us maintain the high standards of our clinical and technical services.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incoming support queues, ensuring all tickets are addressed according to established service level agreements.
- Act as an Incident Commander during critical technical events, providing clear direction and documentation while facilitating retrospective discussions.
- Analyze existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and collaborate with leadership to implement standardized process improvements.
- Partner with our Product and Technology teams to design and deploy automation and self-service tools that reduce manual effort and boost productivity.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Operations and Technology departments to provide effective solutions for unique technical challenges.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a deep sense of empathy for our users.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to execute complex technical runbooks.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
- Fluency in English.
