About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Tech Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will serve as the technical bridge between our product goals and our implementation strategy. You will coordinate all development, architecture, security, and testing activities, ensuring our team adheres to high technical standards while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the team while defining strategies for software development, maintenance, and operations.
• Mentor engineers to build their skills across infrastructure, data, and testing, while reviewing code to ensure effectiveness and quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to design robust, scalable solutions that align with business needs and project roadmaps.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience as a Cloud Architect with proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, and BASH.
• Deep expertise in at least one engineering domain, such as software, data, or site reliability, with foundational knowledge in others.
• A strong understanding of DevOps principles, enterprise integration patterns, and system architecture.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams of engineers throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Node.js, Go, Java 8+, or Ruby.

Location

This position is remote, with the option to work from our office in Baltimore, MD.

Compensation and Benefits
