About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Tech Lead to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will lead our Product Growth team, focusing on running hypothesis-led experiments to optimize our acquisition and purchase funnels. You will act as a hands-on leader, guiding talented engineers and collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful, commercially focused improvements that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of high-performing engineers, taking full responsibility for their professional development and performance.
• Manage the delivery of technical projects by participating in planning, setting clear objectives, and ensuring your team meets its goals.
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and commercial leaders to align engineering efforts with our broader business strategy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have significant experience as a technical lead, engineering manager, or senior engineer within a growth-focused environment. We value clear communication and the ability to simplify complex technical problems for diverse stakeholders. You should be comfortable managing competing priorities, including new feature development, technical debt, and system scalability.

Technical proficiency is essential, and you should have hands-on experience with at least one part of our core stack, which includes:

• React Native for mobile development.
• TypeScript, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL for backend and web systems.
• GCP for hosting and infrastructure.

This position is based on-site in Sydney, Australia.
