At Cin7 we build inventory management software that helps product sellers around the world track stock, sell across multiple channels, and scale their operations without friction. Named NZ Hi-Tech Company of the Year 2023, we connect more than 500 systems and process millions of sales orders each month, giving medium-to-large businesses the tools they need to compete in a digital marketplace.
The role
We are hiring a full-time Engineering Team Lead at the senior level to guide a cross-functional software delivery team. The position is based in New Zealand and follows a hybrid work pattern, combining office collaboration with flexible remote days.
Core responsibilities
- Guide the team in shaping and delivering product and technology roadmaps while upholding quality standards and agreed timelines.
- Act as the main connection point between the engineering group and other departments, translating priorities and ensuring clear communication on progress and blockers.
- Coach team members, set performance targets aligned with company goals, and champion continuous improvement in engineering practices and culture.
Skills and experience
You will bring substantial experience in software development together with a track record of leading technical teams, ideally within a SaaS environment. Strong command of the .NET framework, Agile and Scrum practices, and modern delivery tools is essential. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting. Proficiency in English is necessary for day-to-day collaboration.
Compensation and benefits
We offer hybrid flexibility that includes three days working from home each week and the option to work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to thirty days every six months. Additional benefits include fully paid health insurance, a paid day off on your birthday, a dedicated company-wide Cin7 Day for personal wellbeing, external training opportunities, monthly social events, discounted gym membership, local dining discounts, a recruitment referral bonus, and a relaxed dress code in our modern Grafton office equipped with a pool table, table tennis, PS5, and coffee machines.
