Engineering Team Lead at Quote Velocity

What is this role?

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join us on a full-time basis. This is a remote position where you will guide a dedicated group of 3 to 5 engineers. You will be responsible for architecting scalable solutions and ensuring our software meets the demands of our growing user base. To ensure we stay connected, you will need to be available during our core hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm ET.

What will you do?

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to your team while promoting high standards for software development.
• Architect and implement robust, scalable solutions designed to handle high-traffic applications and large databases.
• Collaborate across teams to align our engineering efforts with broader business goals and improve system performance.

What makes you a great fit?

You should have at least 5 years of professional software development experience and a strong command of English. We are looking for someone who is technically proficient in the following areas:

• PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Front-end development using Vue.js and Livewire.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• A proven ability to lead, mentor, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
