What is this role?

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join us on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. In this leadership role, you will guide our Survey Design team, which is a cross-functional group responsible for the core survey experience within our Engagement product. You will be instrumental in helping us evolve our architecture, specifically by moving away from monolithic services toward a centralized, people science-backed system that allows for semantic tracking of results.

What will you do?

• Lead and mentor a team of senior engineers, helping them solve complex technical challenges while fostering their professional growth into future leaders.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and delivery partners to prioritize our roadmap, define technical vision, and ensure we meet our product goals.
• Design and communicate innovative technical solutions that balance immediate business needs with long-term architectural stability.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a full-stack engineer who feels comfortable working across both front-end and back-end codebases. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

• A solid grasp of systems architecture and programming, with a preference for experience in Ruby.
• Proficiency in building interactive applications using React and TypeScript, along with a strong understanding of responsive design.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, people management, and stakeholder communication.
• A collaborative mindset that values giving and receiving feedback to help the entire team improve.
• Fluency in English.
